Reading Connections transforms our community by improving adult literacy and promoting educational equity, empowering people to lift themselves to greater heights. With the help of our incredible tutors, volunteers, donors, and partners, we help our students meet and exceed their educational and literacy goals.
589 adult students were served by Reading Connections last year in Greensboro and High Point.
118 volunteer tutors worked with our students in one-on-one sessions or in small class settings.
89% of post-tested parents achieved one personal goal.
53% of post-tested students advanced at least one literacy level. This is equal to two-three grade levels.
