FAVORITE BOOK The Principles and Power of Vision by Myles Munroe was a book we were asked to read for church leadership; however it turned into a book that guided me as a wife, mom, and executive director.
FUN FACT I was a cheerleader from elementary to high school and I still can use my cheerleading voice; especially when I’m getting my own kids’ and students’ attention. I’m serious and they get a kick out of it.

WORK After a career as a teacher, school counselor, and educational researcher I wanted to keep busy, so I threw myself into volunteering, board membership, and taking art classes. Living the dream!

FAVORITE BOOK I am currently reading a book about Clara Driscoll who was Louis Tiffany’s right-hand woman during the turn of the century.  It is amazing to read about a woman so dedicated to her craft and her willingness to get little to no credit for her creations.

FUN FACT I played club soccer for 12 years as an adult. I also coached soccer for 18 years, ranging from little ones through college, and was Guilford College’s first Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach.
